The 2008 Astra has a more powerful and fuel efficient XER 1.8 litre engine, producing 103kW.
The Astra coupe's body height is 25mm lower than the 5 door but shares the same wheelbase. The wagon has an 89mm longer wheelbase to accommodate the roomy 266mm longer body.
