The first Australian built car to offer this advanced help & diagnostic system utilising GSM (Global Systems for Mobile) satellite technology. 'Holden Assist' is available as an option on new Statesman & Caprice. 'Holden Assist' services include:-

  1. Vehicle location - in the event of unauthorised entry
  2. remote engine immobilisation when directed by police
  3. assistance, where possible, in the event of accident
  4. roadside assistance requested by the driver
  5. remote door unlocking service
  6. low battery charge monitoring service & battery disconnect alert
  7. police assistance required service
  8. airbag deployment / accident monitoring

Possible scenarios:

Your keys are stolen and your car used illegally. With police assistance, your car can be tracked, and when safe to do so, immobilised remotely by Holden Assist operators.

 

Airbags are deployed during an accident. Your vehicle automatically signals this information to Holden, who contact emergency services with the vehicle's location.

You've locked your keys in the trunk. You phone Holden Assist from your mobile, and following correct identification procedures your car is unlocked remotely.

You run out of petrol on a dark highway, out of mobile phone range. You signal Holden Assist from within your car, and Roadside Assistance are dispatched to help.

The cost of  Holden Assist fitment and first 3 years contract is $1,990.
